Affiliate agreement

Last updated 25 September 2026Version 1.1Questions: hello@orus.uk

This agreement is between you and Eight Hours Group Ltd, trading as ORUS (company number 17031572). It applies when you hold an ORUS affiliate code, which you find under Earn with ORUS in your account on orus.uk and in the app. It sits alongside our Site terms, our Community guidelines and our Privacy policy. You accept it by ticking the box on Earn with ORUS, on the website or in the app, which records the versions you accepted and the time. You must accept it before you can set up payouts, and sharing your code or link before then is also acceptance of it.

1. Who can hold a code

  • Any ORUS member with an account in good standing may hold one affiliate code. You must be at least 18 to be paid.
  • If you run a club or are an ORUS expert, your club or your expert profile already has a code of its own, with its own terms in the Seller agreement. You earn through that code instead, and Earn with ORUS will send you to it. If you later start running a club or become an expert, we may retire your affiliate code in favour of that one; commission already earned on it is still paid.
  • You hold your code as an independent person, not as an employee, agent or partner of ORUS. You cannot make promises, offers or commitments on ORUS's behalf.

3. What you earn

You earn 5% on a new customer's first order on ORUS when it is placed with your code. It is paid by ORUS out of ORUS's own share of the sale; neither the customer nor the seller pays for it.

  • The 5% is worked out on what the customer paid for the products or the course, after any discount, and not counting delivery or ORUS's service fee. It is paid in the currency of the order.
  • We decide whether an order is a first order from our own records at the moment it is paid. The checkout tells the customer when a code cannot apply, so they are never charged on the understanding that it did.
  • Orders you place yourself, or that somebody places for you or on an account you control, earn nothing. Creating accounts to make your own orders look like new customers is a breach of this agreement.

4. What your customer gets

  • A customer who uses your code on a first order gets 2% of what they paid back in ORUS credit, on orders in pounds. Their price is not changed, and nothing is added to it for your commission.
  • You must describe that benefit exactly. You may not promise a discount, a free product, a price or any other benefit that ORUS has not published.

5. Getting paid

  • You are paid into a payout account you set up with Stripe from Earn with ORUS, after you have accepted this agreement there. Stripe collects your bank details and verifies you; ORUS never sees your bank details.
  • Commission on an order becomes payable 14 days after the order is delivered (for a course, 14 days after it is bought), once the customer's return window has closed. We then send it to your payout account automatically.
  • Until your payout account is ready, what you earn is held for you and shown as waiting. Nothing is lost while you finish setting it up.
  • Earn with ORUS lists every commission, what it was for, its state and when it pays. That list is the record of what you are owed.
  • You are responsible for any tax on what you earn and for declaring it where you live. ORUS does not deduct tax from commission and does not give tax advice.

6. Refunds, returns and disputes

  • If the customer is refunded for all or part of the order, the same share of your commission is taken back. A commission not yet paid is reduced before it is sent; one already paid is reversed from your payout account.
  • If a payment is disputed with the customer's bank or found to be fraudulent, no commission is due on it, and any already paid is recovered.

7. How you may promote ORUS

  • Say that you earn from your code. Wherever you share it, make it clear to the reader that it is an affiliate link or code, in the way the advertising rules of your country require (in the UK, clearly labelled as an advert, for example #ad).
  • Tell the truth. You may say what ORUS is, what it sells and what the customer gets. You may not make health or medical claims about any product, course or service, or say that ORUS or any brand endorses you.
  • No spam. Do not send your code to people who have not agreed to hear from you, and do not post it where the place's own rules forbid it.
  • Do not bid on the name ORUS, or on a brand sold on ORUS, in paid search or social advertising, and do not register a domain, account or handle that includes the name ORUS.
  • Do not post your code on voucher or discount-code websites, or present it as a discount.
  • Do not use ORUS's name or logo except to say, truthfully, that you recommend ORUS. You may not alter the logo or make anything look as though it comes from ORUS.

8. What we tell you, and what we do not

  • We show you that an order was placed with your code, what kind of order it was, the commission and its state. We do not tell you who placed it, and we do not share any customer's details with you.
  • What we hold about you for this programme (your code, your commission and your payout account's standing) is covered by our Privacy policy.

9. Changes, suspending and ending

  • We may change the rate or what counts towards it. We will tell you at least 60 days before a change takes effect, and orders paid before that date are paid at the old terms.
  • When this agreement changes, it gets a new version number, and Earn with ORUS asks you to accept the new version before you set up or change your payouts. Commission already earned is not affected.
  • You may stop at any time by writing to hello@orus.uk. Commission already earned is still paid on the normal schedule.
  • We may suspend your code while we look into a suspected breach, and we may end this agreement on notice, or at once for fraud, a serious breach or a legal requirement. Commission on orders that came from a breach is not payable, and any already paid for them may be recovered.
  • If your ORUS account is closed, we retire your code. Commission earned before then is paid once it falls due, provided your payout account is still open.

10. Liability and law

  • You are responsible for what you publish about ORUS and will cover ORUS for any claim, loss or fine that arises from it or from your breach of this agreement.
  • ORUS provides the programme as it is. We do not promise that you will earn anything, and we are not liable for loss of profit or business. Our total liability to you under this agreement in any twelve months is limited to the commission paid to you in that period. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
  • This agreement is governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory protection you have in the country you live in.
  • Questions about this agreement go to hello@orus.uk.
