Who hosts
A club hosts events from its console; an individual host can too. An event has a date in the venue's own clock, a venue on the map or a joining link, a cover, and ticket tiers: free, priced, members-only, capped or uncapped.
The sign-up flow
A visitor picks a tier and a quantity, gives the name on the ticket, and is issued at once for a free tier or pays through Stripe for a priced one. Each ticket carries a QR code and a code; you scan at the door. Postponing or cancelling tells every ticket holder.
The fee
Free tickets cost nothing. A priced ticket takes 3% from you and adds a 5% service fee for the buyer at checkout, so a £50 ticket charges £52.50, you receive £48.50, and ORUS keeps £4.

Can I list an event I do not sell tickets for?
Yes, as an external listing with your own link. It appears in the events directory and sells nothing here.
Do attendees need an ORUS account?
For a club's event, yes, so the ticket is theirs to show. An editorial event can register a guest by name.
