Who can publish
Courses on ORUS are taught by verified experts and by clubs. An expert applies at orus.uk/experts/apply with what they teach; approval is one desk review, and it opens the course studio under your name. A club that runs classes can publish courses from its own console.
The studio
The course studio on admin.orus.uk is where a course is built: a landing page, sections and lessons (text, video, a quiz, an assignment), objectives that every quiz measures, a price, and a publish checklist that says exactly what is still missing. A course is studied on the web and in the app, with progress carried between them and a certificate at the end.
What a course needs before it goes live
A cover, a description of at least two hundred characters, three lessons, an objective for each assessment, and, if it is priced, a payout account. The checklist on the Publish tab lists each one with what done looks like. ORUS checks you once, at approval, and never each course: from then on a course is live the moment you publish it, at any price.
The fee
Free courses cost nothing. A priced course takes 5% from you and adds a 5% service fee for the student at checkout, so a £40 course charges £42, you receive £38, and ORUS keeps £4. Courses are bought on the web; the app is where they are studied.

Can I sell a course without being an expert?
A club can. An individual publishes as a verified expert, which is one application and one review.
Do I need video?
No. A text lesson with a reading gate, a quiz and an assignment make a full course. Video is welcome and is streamed with captions when you add it.
