The story
Styrkr, pronounced stir-kuh and meaning strength in Old Norse, was founded by endurance cyclist Christian Sanderson out of frustration with fuel that upset the stomach over long distances. Developed in the UK with sports science input from the University of Hull, the range of drink mixes, gels, bars and electrolytes is built around a dual-carbohydrate system, maltodextrin and fructose at a 1:0.8 ratio, chosen for fast absorption with the least gut discomfort. The whole range is vegan and made in Britain.
Why ORUS chose STYRKR
Endurance fuel lives or dies on two things, whether it works and whether it wrecks your stomach. Styrkr takes both seriously, with a dual-carb ratio backed by real sports science and a gentleness that long-distance athletes swear by. For anyone whose Move ritual runs into the hours, it is fuel you can trust when it matters.
