We believe you should always know what is in the products you use. Here is how to find and understand ingredient information on ORUS.
Where to find ingredients
Every product page on ORUS lists the ingredients in the product details section. This information comes from the brand, and we check what we can when a product is listed.
Check before you use it
Always check the ingredient list on the packaging and the brand's own product data sheet before use. Formulations change, mistakes can be made in what a brand supplies or in what we copy across, and the packaging in your hand is the definitive source. It is your responsibility to check that a product is suitable for you before you take or use it, and ORUS cannot accept liability for a reaction to a product you have not checked in this way.
Allergen information
If a product contains any of the 14 UK/EU major allergens (such as dairy, gluten, nuts, soy, eggs, fish, shellfish, celery, mustard, sesame, lupin, molluscs, or sulphites), this is noted in the product details where the brand has told us. Treat that note as a prompt to check the packaging, not as a guarantee.
Your wellness profile
If you fill in the allergens section of your wellness profile, the ORUS advisor will take your sensitivities into account when making suggestions. It will avoid suggesting products that contain ingredients you have flagged, as far as the ingredient list we hold allows. The advisor is AI-generated and is not a substitute for reading the label.
Questions about a specific product?
If you cannot find the information you need on a product page, ask the ORUS advisor or email hello@orus.uk. We will get the answer from the brand.
